The morning session was led by the manager of the quality control department, covering quality standards for the industrial blade industry, analysis and prevention of common defects, and proper use of inspection instruments. The instructor used recent real-life production cases to explain in detail the causes of edge chipping, dimensional deviation, surface scratches, and other issues, along with improvement measures. Participants took careful notes and engaged in lively discussions on “how to reduce human error.” Through theoretical instruction and case analysis, everyone gained a deeper understanding that “every blade represents the Mingbai brand.”

Hands-on Practice + Assessment: Enhancing Job Skills

The afternoon session was divided by workshop and job type for practical exercises. At the grinding station, an experienced master demonstrated parameter setting and grinding path optimization techniques on the high-precision five-axis CNC grinding machine. In the quality inspection area, inspectors practiced using optical measuring instruments, roughness testers, and other equipment, and then took a timed inspection assessment. At the heat treatment station, a technician explained how to adjust the temperature control curve of the vacuum furnace. All participants were required to pass both a written theory test and a practical assessment, with results included in the monthly performance evaluation. According to statistics, the pass rate for this training session was 96%; those who did not pass will receive remedial training.

Safety + Standardization: Building a Solid Production Foundation

The training also included dedicated modules on work safety and equipment maintenance. The safety officer explained the proper wearing of personal protective equipment, emergency stop procedures, emergency response processes, and other topics specific to the machining industry, and organized a simulated emergency drill on site. The equipment maintenance team shared daily inspection points, lubrication and maintenance procedures, and common minor troubleshooting methods for CNC grinding machines, helping operators achieve the ability to “use, maintain, and diagnose.”

Employees who participated in the training said that the content was highly relevant and practical.
